AutoIntegrate not loading into Scripts

Hi Jarmo.
Just done a full clean W10 install and Pixinsight 1.8.9-3
Lockhart is giving me to many problems.
I’ve added v1.74 to repository and it’s installed, However when i close Pi and open it again Auto isnt in my scripts anymore.
Any ideas on whats happening.

Peter

Hi Peter,

I have heard this problem sometimes although I have not seen it myself. I have one possible solution here:
https://ruuth.xyz/AutoIntegrateInfo.html#knownproblems

  • AutoIntegrate does not show up in the Script/Batch Processing menu.
If AutoIntegrate does not show up in the Script/Batch Processing menu you can try to reinstall scripts by deleting the updates.xri file in the PixInsight application folder. Or you can try to repair the PixInsight installation, check for updates, close PixInsight to install updates, and restart PixInsight.

It may be possible to reset the database (updates.xri?) some other way but if nothing else helps then at least in older (before 1.9) versions delete should help.

Btw, let me know if you see any problems running the latest script on older PixInsight. I have added some compatibility checks but may have missed some cases.

Jarmo

Good morning Jarmo.
Thank’s for this. It’s the first time i have had this happen. I will be doing more in Pi later today.
My solution is to reset repository and redo the updates which brings it back. All the files are sitting in the Program File/Pi/src/scripts/autointegrate folder even when it’s not being loaded. I thought at first they were somehow being deleted.

I will get back to you with more info if it happens again.

Update.. I decided to run repair Pi with the install .exe It did a new install instead.
I got the 32 updates as you would on a new install. Everything popped up in Scripts. I launched AutoI and then closed Pi. Opened it again and everything was still there. No idea why it would do a fresh install.
