A new control is added for STF targetBackground. With that it is possible to control automatic stretching. Lowering the value can be helpful for very bright targets like galaxies.
Extra option Auto STF is renamed to Auto stretch. Now it uses whatever stretching is selected in Image stretching settings. It can be used to test stretching on any image using the Apply button.
Below is an example of luminance file stretching with default of 25 on the left and targetBackground value 10 on the right.
