I must be missing something.
I don’t see any interface for telling Astro Mosaic what your camera angle is?
Also what if you’re on an Alt Az mount, vs. EQ?
Thanks

Hi,
Do you need a camara angle if your location is set and you give target RA/DEC coordinates? At least that is how remote telescopes work.

Camera angle on the Sky is fixed for EQ mounts (with no rotator), but is constantly changing for Alt Az. You can see all this is in Stellarium Oculars.
AFAIK remote telescopes don’t have rotators and have fixed camera angles, but you need to know what they are. e.g. at least iTelescope had similar FSQ106 rigs with camera angles that were 90 degrees apart.
Framing wizards, like in SGP and NINA, have camera angle inputs, and/or you can get them via the latest platesolve.
Hi,
Thanks for the info! My tool is very simple and although it has worked fine in my use cases it may not work that well in all cases.
